Jack of Hearts

Jack of all trades...master of none?  Nope. This does not apply to the Atlanta based rock group Jack of Hearts; for them, music is not just a trade. From the reports I have been reading over the last few months, they've shaken up the ATL music scene and with their upcoming tour they will be expanding their fan base.  Like the subject of my last post, Bosco, JoH is a part of The Big Up! artists collective. The group is comprised of Will Day (bass/lead vocals), Omar Ferrer (keys/guitar/vocals), Sarah Wilson (drums), and David Courtwright (guitar/vocals) and together they forge a very palatable alternative/indie rock style that has had me digging into the dark corners of the web for more of their work. There are only two tracks to be found (one just became available today), so it seems like for now you just have to head to one of their shows and get the album when it drops on August 26th...which isn't a bad idea. Check out the two tracks below and then check the tour schedule to see when they'll be coming to a venue near you. And if you're in the Atlanta area you might want to check out the album release party on the 26th where they will be kickin' it with Bosco and Speakerfoxxx; I'll have to wait for the NYC gig.
